Mission Statement

The Institute researches and advances the role of communications volunteers in emergencies, both within government and among NGOs. It designs organizational structures, training, systems, and equipment to support emergency communications. The Institute advocates for reform to eliminate barriers and create opportunities for communications volunteers in emergency response.
